Israele-Gaza, media: “Hamas pronta a discutere rilascio ostaggi anche senza cessate fuoco”

Hamas sarebbe pronto a discutere un accordo sul rilascio degli ostaggi e la fine della guerra a Gaza anche senza “un cessate il fuoco completo e permanente” nella Striscia. Lo ha detto una fonte del gruppo all’Afp, secondo quanto riferiscono i media israeliani. Hamas sarebbe pronto “a bypassare” quel passaggio, “mentre i mediatori qatarini si sono impegnati a far sì che finché i negoziati sui prigionieri proseguono, anche il cessate il fuoco continuerà”.

L’incontro al Cairo

Il direttore della Cia, William Burns, è atteso la prossima settimana al Cairo per colloqui sul cessate il fuoco a Gaza. Lo ha riferito l’emittente egiziana al-Qahera, citando una fonte di alto livello. In precedenza la tv israeliana Kan aveva riportato la notizia che Burns, i suoi omologhi del Mossad e dell’intelligence egiziana, David Barnea e Abbas Kamel, ed il primo ministro del Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, dovrebbero incontrarsi mercoledì prossimo a Doha per discutere di un potenziale accordo tra Israele e Hamas per il cessate il fuoco a Gaza in cambio del rilascio degli ostaggi.

Raid dal Libano, ferito americano in Israele

Un cittadino americano è rimasto gravemente ferito in un attacco rivendicato da Hezbollah nel nord di Israele. Lo ha riferito il Times of Israel, precisando che nel raid condotto vicino al moshav di Zarit, al confine con il Libano, sono state ferite in modo lieve altre due persone, tra cui un militare.

Oltre 38.100 le vittime, quasi 88mila feriti

Sono oltre 38.100 i palestinesi morti e quasi 88mila quelli feriti dall’inizio dell’offensiva militare lanciata da Israele contro la Striscia di Gaza. Ad aggiornare il bilancio sono state le autorità della Striscia di Gaza, controllate da Hamas, dopo aver accertato la morte di 55 persone durante le ultime 24 ore.

Il Ministero della Sanità di Gaza ha indicato in un comunicato che “il bilancio dell’aggressione israeliana è salito a 38.153 morti e 87.828 feriti” e ha aggiunto che l’esercito israeliano ha commesso tre “massacri” nell’ultimo giorno che hanno provocato 55 morti e 123 feriti. Allo stesso modo, ha sottolineato che c’è un numero imprecisato di vittime “sotto le macerie e sulle strade”, dove le ambulanze e le squadre di protezione civile non possono arrivare.

Blocchi e proteste in Israele

Numerose in Israele le manifestazioni e le azioni di protesta con interruzioni del traffico di strade e autostrade, in una giornata nazionale di contestazioni e blocchi, per chiedere elezioni e un accordo per la liberazione degli ostaggi, organizzata a 9 mesi esatti dall’attacco terroristico di Hamas del 7 ottobre. Strade bloccate dagli organizzatori della protesta in tutto il Paese dalle 6.29, l’ora esatta in cui è iniziato il devastante attacco del 7 ottobre. La giornata culminerà con una protesta di massa davanti al quartier generale militare di Tel Aviv.
