LAMEZIA. Il 12 agosto torna «La festa degli emigranti»: musica e buon cibo nella bellezza incontaminata di contrada Miglierina

Giorno 12 Agosto, a partire dal primo pomeriggio, in c.da Miglierina di Lamezia Terme, e’ stata organizzata dall’ associazione ” I CORI CALABRISI“, aderente ad ACLI ARTE e SPETTACOLO , e la collaborazione dell’ Associazione “PARCO AGRICOLO CALABRIA” la “Festa degli emigranti “.

Questa antica frazione ex comune di Sambiase che si trova tra i due corsi d’ acqua il Carpina’ e Caria che in base a cenni storici hanno permesso ai primi abitanti del luogo di usufruire della sabbia depositatasi sui loro argini, per poter fabbricare le prime forme abitative di questo antico insediamento, da questo il nome “megglia arina” e dal loro incrocio nasce il fiume Bagni. In questa zona ci sono ancora dei vecchi mulini diroccati ricoperti da erbaccia o si possono scorgere numerose buche nel terreno che un tempo venivano usate per lavorare la pietra calcarea.

Tornando alla festa, si iniziera’ con l’ assaggio dei cibi delle nostre tradizioni, salsiccia,patate ,trippa, naturalmente accompagnati da un buon bicchiere di vino locale.La serata sara’ allietata ,dalle 21.30 con uno spettacolo musicale di folcrore, del gruppo “CORI CALABRISI” ed animata da Costantino Vaccaro. Per il Presidente dell associazione Piero Renda, questa festa e’ un modo per mantenere viva una zona bistrattata della nostra citta’ ,spesso dimenticata, ma che ha nella sua collocazione un bellissimo paesaggio naturale.

Vicina alle Terme di Caronte, al Parco Mitoio con il suo Anfiteatro, chiuso da anni e che dovrebbe essere messo in sicurezza.

Un’adeguata viabilita, la creazione di percorsi naturalisti , strutture ricettive e la zona potrebbe diventare un luogo di attrazione turistica Compito della nostra associazione,oltre a promuovere la musica popolare e’ anche avvicinare la gente nei luoghi poco conosciuti e frequentati per questo motivo invitiamo i nostri amministratori a concentrarsi nelle loro scelte di sviluppo turistiche anche a considerare quei posti che non si riescono a raggiungere .
